19/04/2012 A successful European public-public partnership – Commission report on the interim evaluation of the European Metrology Research Programme (EMRP) On 16 April, the Commission adopted its report assessing the achievements of the European Metrology Research Programme (EMRP), an initiative started 3 years ago. Since 2009 metrology research in Europe is jointly addressed, financed and investigated between 22 European countries and the EU in a joint programme, implemented by EURAMET e.V. The Commission was supported during this evaluation by an independent expert panel chaired by Ms. Pia Locatelli, former Member of the European Parliament. |

ERA-LEARN continue to facilitate the exchange of ideas and good practice between ERA-NETs. This newsletter contains information on the ERA-LEARN workshops held in November 2011. It also contains news on newly funded ERA-NETs, the PLATFORM project, and Horizon 2020 developments. |

09/11/2011 Annual Joint Programming Event 2011 The conference has become the major event for research funders and offered opportunities to discuss the latest policy thinking as regards Joint Programming of research and innovation in Europe and Public to Public Partnerships in general. The 2-day conference integrated the former "Annual ERA-NET events" and was targeted at policy makers and research funders in Europe, as well as related stakeholders. |

27/07/2010 ERA-NET call 2011 of the Commission € 44,6 million has been earmarked for the 2011 call for ERA-NET proposals for 19 topics in the fields of "Health", "Food, Agriculture and Fisheries", "Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies", "Energy", "Transport", "Socio-economic sciences and Humanities", and "Horizontal support action". |
The list of joint calls has been updated. Currently it includes eleven new joint calls, with six of them in their "open for proposals" stage. As usual, they can be accessed in the Joint Calls list, and in the Joint Call Calendar. |
The annual ERA-NET event has become the major event for policy makers and funding bodies. The 2010 event took place in Brussels on the 23rd and 24th of March. The results of the workshops can be downloaded from the events section. |
