The annual ERA-NET event has become the major event for policy makers and funding bodies. It took place in Brussels on the 23rd and 24th of March. The event brought more than 200 new and old stakeholders to keep them abreast of the latest policy thinking, to review progress in terms of the development of the platform, and to elicit their views on future activities. More specifically, it put a strong emphasis on interaction and mutual learning by offering eight different workshops dealing with issues at the heart of the current discussion on the coordination and cooperation of national and regional research programmes.
