Event: Annual Joint Programming Event 2011

Date
9 and 10 November 2011
Location
Brussels
Description

The conference has become the major event for research funders and offered opportunities to discuss the latest policy thinking as regards Joint Programming of research and innovation in Europe and Public to Public Partnerships in general. The 2-day conference integrated the former "Annual ERA-NET events" and was targeted at policy makers and research funders in Europe, as well as related stakeholders (GPC members, JPI representatives, ERA-NET coordinators and participants, representatives from Art.185, ETP, JTI, PPP, EIT, EIP etc.).

Following the positive experiences from past events the programme offered a mix of plenary sessions, including overview presentations providing a common forum for all participants, and interactive smaller sessions with working groups around key issues related to Public Public partnerships in the context of the upcoming Horizon 2020.

The event brought more than 350 new and old stakeholders to keep them abreast of the latest policy thinking, to review progress in terms of the development of the platform, and to elicit their views on future activities.

Please find below the conference programme, participant list and slides from the plenary and parallel sessions.

The report on the event and its outcomes will be published in early December.

The pictures of the event are for personal use only.
